MomentumHari ASI Sedunia 2022 ini diperingati selama sepekan pada bulan Agustus. Hari ASI Sedunia 2022 berlangsung sejak tanggal 1-7 Agustus nanti. Dengan adanya Pekan Menyusui Sedunia ini diharapakan banyak yang teredukasi dengan baik betapa menyusui memiliki dampak yang begitu besar bagi anak.
Ditambah bayi yang menyusu secara eksklusif selama 6 bulan pertama, tanpa formula, hanya memiliki sedikit infeksi telinga, sakit pada pernapasan (respiratori), dan keluhan diare. Mereka juga akan lebih jarang dirawat dan mengunjungi dokter. Selain memberikan banyak manfaat bagi bayi, ASI juga memberikan beberapa manfaat bagi sang ibu.

Memperingati Hari Maritim Nasional berarti memperingati juga segala upaya yang telah dilakukan pemerintah dalam hal kemaritiman dua versi tanggal peringatan Hari maritim Nasional yaitu 21 agustus dan 23 Maritim Nasional ditetapkan pada 21 Agustus untuk memperingati armada laut Indonesia yang berhasil mengambil alih kekuasaan militer laut Jepang pada 21 Agustus 1945 lalu. Hari ASI Sedunia diperingati setiap tanggal 1 Agustus. Hari ASI Sedunia atau Pekan ASI Sedunia World Breastfeed Week akan berlangsung selama satu minggu, yakni mulai 1 Agustus hingga 7 breastfeed week kali ini mengusung tema pada “Menyusui adalah Kunci dalam Menentukan Strategi Pembangunan Berkelanjutan Pasca Pandemi”. Hari ASI Sedunia 2022 Sejarah Pekan ASI Sedunia atau Hari ASI Sedunia adalah gerakan menyusui secara global yang mendukung para ibu agar dapat menyusui di mana saja dengan nyaman. Kegiatan dimulai secara aktif sejak 1992 dengan tema yang berbeda setiap tahunnya. Pekan ASI Sedunia bermula dari dari gagasan organisasi World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action WABA pada 14 Februari 1991. Gagasan ini lahir seiring dicetuskannya Innocenti Declaration yang diresmikan oleh WHO, UNICEF, pemerintah dari beberapa negara, serta sejumlah organisasi lainnya. Declaration ini bertujuan untuk melindungi, mendukung, sekaligus mempromosikan gerakan menyusui. Deklarasi ini diperingati dalam World Breastfeed Week WBW atau Pekan ASI Sedunia pada tanggal 1-7 Agustus. Kemudian mulai tahun 2016, WBW diselaraskan dengan Sustainable Development Goals SDGs. Selanjutnya pada 2018, resolusi Majelis Kesehatan Dunia mengesahkan WBW sebagai strategi promosi menyusui yang Pekan ASI Sedunia merupakan salah satu kampanye bersama yang dilakukan oleh WHO dan UNICEF. Melalui peringatan ini, WHO merekomendasikan para ibu untuk menyusui anaknya hingga berusia dua tahun. Mengutip Awareness Days, Pekan ASI Sedunia ini bertujuan untuk menyoroti manfaat besar yang dapat diberikan ASI bagi kesehatan dan kesejahteraan bayi, serta dorongan yang lebih luas untuk kesehatan ibu, dengan fokus pada nutrisi yang baik, pengurangan kemiskinan dan ketahanan pangan. sumber ASI telah disebutkan dalam Al Quran, “Dan Kami perintahkan kepada manusia berbuat baik kepada dua orang ibu-bapaknya; ibunya telah mengandungnya dalam keadaan lemah yang bertambah-tambah, dan menyapihnya dalam dua tahun. Perintah menyapih anak dalam dua tahun relevan dengan temuan ilmiah tentang manfaat ASI. Misalnya dalam tulisan Rex D. Russell, “Design in Infant Nutrition” http// www. Russell mengatakan bahwa menyusui bayi selama dua tahun setelah kelahiran sungguh amat dalam Sudut Pandang Islam ASI dalam Islam tidak hanya berkaitan tentang makanan yang terbaik untuk bayi tetapi juga tentang mahram. Di Indonesia, permintaan terhadap donor ASI maupun tawaran untuk mendonorkan ASI dalam beberapa tahun terakhir banyak berseliweran di berbagai media sosial maupun melalui berbagai komunitas ibu menyusui. Menyikapi hal ini Majelis Ulama Indonesia MUI mengeluarkan fatwa No 28 Tahun 2013 Tentang Seputar Masalah Donor ASI atau Istirja’.Dalam fatwa itu disebutkan bahwa memberikan ASI kepada anak yang bukan anak kandung dan anak yang menerima ASI dari ibu yang bukan ibu kandung diperbolehkan.
